Mundo Nuevo Eco Lodge Minca is set on an organic farm that supplies its vegetarian restaurant with fruits and vegetables grown on the property. Guests can join permaculture and local crafts workshops to learn about the lodge's self-sufficient operations. The lodge also offers exclusive access to a neighboring organic farm, Plan B, for farm-to-table tastings and educational tours.

Mundo Nuevo Eco Lodge offers a range of rooms from dormitories to private suites, including the Mariposa house with a private lounge area, hammock, and an upstairs extra bed. The Deluxe Double Room with Shower features a private bathroom and direct mountain views, while the Double or Twin Room with Mountain View is equipped with cotton bedding and mosquito nets. All accommodations are designed with natural materials and integrated into the surrounding landscape.

On-Site Dining & Bar

The property's vegetarian restaurant operates with a single daily menu that changes based on what is harvested from the farm. Guests can order locally brewed Nevada beer, wine, and cocktails from the bar, which also serves freshly made snacks. All meals are prepared from scratch, including house-baked bread, arepas, and salsas, with coffee sourced from the lodge's own beans.

Wellness & Relaxation

Mundo Nuevo Eco Lodge offers full-body massages using organic cocoa from the Sierra Nevada, as well as neck and back massages performed by a certified therapist. The outdoor infinity pool is heated and has a shallow end, providing views of the Sierra Nevada mountains and the Caribbean Sea in the distance. Guests can attend yoga classes on the terrace or relax in the spa lounge area, which includes a massage chair.

Activities & Cultural Immersion

The lodge provides free guided bird-watching tours that start at 6 a.m., offering sightings of toucans and hummingbirds. Guests can book cacao and coffee tours at a neighboring farm, or join a tour or class about local culture, including visits to a Wiwa indigenous village. Additional walking tours, hiking to the 360° Mirador, and horseback riding are available directly from the property.
